Greens Bush to Arthurs Seat Biolink Field Day – Vic

  • Uncommon Folk @ The Fancy Shed 328 Main Creek Rd, Main Ridge Australia (map)

We invite you to a Greens Bush to Arthurs Seat Biolink project (GB2AS) field day on waterway and wetland management on farms. This significant field day will host several leading national and local experts: Louise Kerford from Melbourne Water will discuss waterway and wetland management within the GB2AS Biolink and Mornington Peninsula area, Peter Hazell and Erin Healy from Mulloon Institute will talk about rehydrating catchments and managing waterways on farms and Lance Lloyd from the Western Port Biosphere will discuss wetland management and water stewardship on farms.

The health of waterways and wetlands on farms is a key outcome of the GB2AS Biolink project that is implemented through land management planning, revegetation, weeding, pest animal management, fencing and community education activities.

The Mulloon Institute is recognised globally as a demonstrator of sustainable agriculture and environmental regeneration through landscape rehydration and restoration. The Institute demonstrates innovative land management approaches that create healthier landscapes with more resilience to climatic extremes.

The Western Port Biosphere works with the community to create a sustainable future for Western Port, which is done through research, education, community engagement, partnerships and on-ground conservation efforts.
